About Gorchumuk :

Gorchumuk is in Howrah district of West Bengal. This is in the bank of the river Ganges where a beautiful barrage is there. This barrage is known as 58 No Gate (Atanna no.Gate). A deer park is an added attraction. Basically this is a nice picnic spot. The scenic beauty of the of the river Ganges and surrounding locality will deffinitely mesmerise you. Its becoming a popular tourist attraction very rapidly. Gadiyara is an another Tourist/ Picnic spot in the same way. Gadiyara is 22 Km from here.

How to reach :

Via Train : (South Eastern Railways) form Howrah to Uluberia (45 minutes). From Uluberia via CSTC bus, jeep, trekker, ambassdor to 58 No Gate.
Via Bus : Buses are abailabel form Esplanade. Take any bus to Gadiyara. In the way you get 58 No gate stopage. It will take 2.30 hrs to reached there from Esplanade.
By private car: Via Bombay road to Uluberia then local road.
